Support and training for caregivers · Ciudad Juárez
Care training, burnout prevention and family guidance. Whoever provides care holds up the entire plan: if they burn out, everything falls.
- Office and home visits
- Bring someone with you
- Written plan
When to consult
When should a caregiver seek support?
Before the collapse. Caregiver burnout is a real, measurable and treatable condition, and preventing it protects two people.
When to consult
- Fatigue that does not improve with rest.
- You dropped your own medical visits, sleep or activities.
- You do not know how to respond to agitation or repetition.
- The whole load falls on one person.
Before your visit
- Write down the care tasks of a typical week.
- Identify which relatives could take on concrete tasks.
- Bring your own questions: this visit is for you too.
Important points
- Asking for help is not failing: it is the only way to sustain care long term.
- Untreated burnout leads to depression and illness in the caregiver.
- Much of the difficult behavior in dementia improves by changing how you respond.
